Dir. Cayanan swears in PCAFEA officials

Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF) Executive Director Ariel Cayanan administered the oath of office of the members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Officers of the PCAF Employees’ Association (PCAFEA) last July 13, 2015 in a simple ceremony at the executive director’s office. The oath-taking ceremony of the officers of the PCAFEA Governing Body was witnessed by Deputy Executive Director Florabelle Uy-Yap and the members of the electoral board. PCAFEA is an organization of rank-and-file employees of PCAF created pursuant to Executive Order 180, Series of 1987 for the furtherance and protection of the interests of its members. PCAF’s Budget Section Chief Redentor Besenio leads the five-member Board of Directors as chairperson while PCAF Area Coordinator for ARMM Benjamin Donor serves as the president of the eight Executive Officers, all of whom were duly elected last June 29. To officially put its creation into effect, PCAFEA is set to register with the Civil Service Commission and the Department of Labor and Employment and formulate terms of reference for its Governing Body.
